Support Experience UGA by making a financial contribution or by volunteering your time. If you, your department, or unit, wants to become a part of Experience UGA by planning a trip, lending a hand at a trip, or by spreading the word about our program, contact Shannon Walker, Experience UGA Coordinator, at experienceuga@gmail.com or 706-542-5008.

Become an Experience UGA Ambassador

If you are a current UGA student interested in taking on a greater leadership role within Experience UGA, consider applying to be an Experience UGA Ambassador.  We have just recruited our new class of Experience UGA Ambassadors, but applications for next year will open in the fall of 2019!

The Experience UGA Ambassadors will serve from the beginning of Spring - the end of Fall as ambassadors for the University of Georgia to the Clarke County School District. They will create a presence in the community through their participation in Experience UGA trips and events as well as School District and community events.  Serving as an Experience UGA Ambassador will be included on your Experiential Learning Transcript (and meets the requirement for students in the College of Education, College of Family and Consumer Sciences, and College of Arts and Sciences).  Experience UGA Ambassadors will enhance their leadership competency by developing their skills in civic engagement, critical thinking, communication, ethical reasoning, and reflection, and have the opportunity in the future to take on further leadership roles within the program if desired.  Your acceptance to the Experience UGA Ambassador program will be contingent upon passing a background check.

If you have any questions or want more information, please contact Alison Doherty at alison.doherty@uga.edu.

We welcome the donations of community members and businesses!
